President's Column

Submitted by content admin on June 22, 2007 - 2:05pm.

The mission of the Surrey Foundation is to improve the quality of life for the people of Surrey.  This may be through managing endowed funds to supporting local programs and initiatives, or working collaboratively with stakeholders from the business and non-profit sectors to address the critical needs in the community.

To help you understand the guiding principles of community foundations, I am writing a monthly column that talks about the role of the Surrey Foundation and the opportunities available for you to provide support.  As a member of one of the fastest growing philanthropic movements in Canada, the Surrey Foundation can help you make the most beneficial tax-efficient gift while ensuring that you leave a legacy for the next generation that reflects causes that are important to you.  Please contact us if you have any questions.
